Open Chord will once again be offering Halloween-themed drinks until Halloween.
All of the drinks are available with or without alcohol (so everyone can enjoy them), and they have something for everyone. Open Chord Music offers something that no other bar in Knoxville does—not only do they offer a safe space for people of all ages, but we also offer something safe for people who aren't consuming alcohol. No need to feel left out this Halloween!
Spooky Drinks For Everyone!
Bartender, Allie Holmes, has worked hard with her bar staff to create an environment that is safe and all inclusive.
“I remember being younger and wanting to go somewhere to listen to live music but everything was either 18+ or 21+. There shouldn’t be an age limit to live music.” Holmes states.
She also recalls being younger and getting virgin Margaritas from local Mexican restaurant, Chez Guevara and how it made her feel special to drink a cocktail with the adults around her.
Mocktails make people who are either under 21 or are not drinking alcohol feel included. Social culture now days makes you feel like you need a drink in your hand so mocktails are a great was to involve everyone. Plus, they are more fun than just drinking soda! -Holmes
While Open Chord Music offers spiritless cocktails all year round, this Halloween season the menu was created to make all the non alcoholic beverages as similar to the regular cocktails as possible.
Some of these drinks include flavors of blackberry, candy corn infused simple syrup, caramel, pop rocks, and more!
Open Chord Music even got the Knoxville community involved by having followers on instagram comment what they think they should name a drink. The winner was the Witches Brew named by Josh Piloczewski.

If you’re not a fan of haunted houses or corn mazes but are still looking for some spooky fun, Open Chord Music has several up-and-coming Halloween themed nights for those looking for some Halloween nightlife. On October 27 the Open Mic Night hosted by Chris Marshall, will be Halloween themed. People are welcome to participate in dressing up and there will be a winner for best costume at the end of the night.
Saturday, October 29 there will also be a Halloween bash. That night will be featuring bands like The Dead Deads, J-Birds, Nightfly, and more!
