Starting off this month strong with Drayton Farley! Farley is local to Alabama where he learned to create music with folk, country, and American roots! He will be performing in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 3rd at Open Chord Music. Tickets are available here!
The very talented Eli Fox has a concert on Friday November 2nd. Fox has performed at Open Chord before and every time we are in awe of his music. It’s not just music, it’s a passion.
“There doesn't seem to be any profound reason or meaning as to why I make music,” Eli muses. “It can make the days seem less dim, or help me gather my thoughts while also allowing me to process those things that are impacting me in the here and now. Writing songs is how I reflect, and ponder possibilities for the future. When I grapple with overwhelming emotion, or find I have some thoughts to share, I tend to turn to song. It’s almost as if my muse simply comes through naturally, and allows me an outlet for honest expression.”

Open chord is a music venue/ bar located in Knoxville, TN, just a few minutes from downtown. It's run by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet in music, like Randy Holmes and Dillon Bunn, and they curate shows all month long that are open to all ages. A goal they strive for, and accomplish, is to provide musical entertainment in a friendly and intimate setting, ensuring that no matter what you're coming for, whether it be to relax with friends or enjoy an entertaining evening out with your significant other, there will always be something worth seeing.
